A graduate of the University of Georgia with degrees in Public Relations and Adult Education, Laura Lee has worked in admissions and immigration for several University System institutions. She was a doctoral research assistant at the University of Georgia where she conducted reseacrh for the Department of Technical and Adult Education and co-authored a published report on access to higher education for Hispanic students in Georgia. Ms. Bernstein served as the State Program Director fot the Georgia Migrant Education Program and worked as the Grant Program Support Coordinator for Adult Education with the Technical College System of Georgia. Most recently, Ms. Bernstein served as the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Americus and is currently working as the County Manager of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County.
I have been with the County since November 20, 2007, almost 14 years.
I am the Assistant County Manager/Payroll Clerk/Office Manager, many other hats as needed. I have discovered that I love to travel and hopefully can look forward to traveling a lot in the future.
