The Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

The new National Suicide Prevention and Crisis lifeline is LIVE! As of July 16, 2022 anyone experiencing a mental health crisis can simply call or text the numbers 9-8-8 to be connected with the Suicide and Crisis lifeline. This lifeline is designed to be as quick and easy to remember and use as 9-1-1, but instead of a dispatcher sending police, firefighters or paramedics, 9-8-8 will connect callers with trained mental health professionals.

The 9-8-8 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides FREE and CONFIDENTIAL emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24/7 in the United States.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 9-8-8 to be connected with help and support. Mental Health Matters and so do *YOU*!
